You ought to throw some of these up and have us guess the time period. I would've thought the early sixties, by all the trenchcoats and hats. Very interesting.

..yes, well the drawing was done in 1963... hats were still worn by some... and there seem to be old people around... now they get plastic surgery and try to look young and then die earlier... thanks for dropping by...

...he couldn't... but as long as the sketch book was full of drawings... it didn't matter... because if you faked it... that would indicate good talents in forgery... Did you know there are more fake Picasso paintings around than genuine ones that he really painted! ...thanks for dropping by...

my sketches from high school contained a lot of fedoras, dick tracy style,
i was quite proud of them.  someone stole them but it wasn't about the art, it was personal.  i'm sorry to not have those pieces.
