Good Point
Lets face it - people write crap posts simply to hold up their ratings. They write a lot of pretty dubious comments for the same reason.
Anyone whose on Blogit for the internal rating system should give themselves an upper-cut...

I don't know if Poopyhead is the best term (hehe) for these people, but I hear ya. That's why I periodically disappear from here sometimes. I'm busy with life and even at times when I'm not, I don't always have anything interesting to say. Sometimes I'll come in and just read but not comment. As far as what you're saying, I totally agree. I also get totally annoyed when people post that they're leaving for good (or at least for a few months) and NEVER leave!

I used to be a PoopyHead too Julia...lol..
Well, kind of. Tried to keep my rambling, undirected thoughts confined to a journal blog, when I had one. And thoughts about Blogit in a blogging blog. And it seemed I had more comments and better rankings on those two as compared to poetry and political. Interesting what type of material people enjoy reading.

Sometimes I am poopyheadish in that I write and say I have nothing to say. But I do this in the hopes that something will come to me. It's my own method of trying to break out of the writer's block blues.

On the other hand, the one thing I refuse to do, in blogging as well as life, is threaten to leave in order to get someone to beg me to stay. That I find distasteful.
As for the rankings, well, it's fun, and SOOO gratifying, even for a fleeting moment. (I've been practicing my parade wave, see...elbow, elbow, wrist, wrist..),I have to get some vaseline for my toothy smile, though.

Many of the bloggers think , that is what ,blogging is all about .
Creative posting is serious work for them so better keep away from it . Have fun and enjoy life being as much lighter as you can . When your mind is empty you need to say you have nothing worth saying and that's better than pretending you have plenty to say without saying anything.
