Every two years might not be a bad idea at all except, of course, having to put up with a constant bombardment of nasty, opponent bashing ads in which the candidate doing the bashing tells nothing about what he or she is doing or going to do but rather all the things he or she thinks the public will hate in the opponent.
As far as I'm concerned, keeping them moving through and not stopping long enough to do much damage would be good but I'm afraid that 5 minutes after being sworn might be enough for them to do damage.
