Hi TAPS
Have you ever wondered what someone meant ? Then sat down pondering and wondering, on thin air because someone had moved the place intended for your bum , or it was never there in the first place ? I have many times, in front of family and good friends .
I received the school colours for my rugby playing, red faced and thinking I had been knighted by the queen of England. . . On the school stage in front of proud family, teachers , fellow pupils friends and playground enemies, I walked my bowing way backwards towards the place in my mind, where I could safely sit down my bum ? Too this day , I receive comments from friends , '' Mick what colour was them school colours? SCARLET !

I enjoy reading your response to comments and comments in general as much as your poems. I just love the colorful language you use, it is fresh sincere so real as true to life as it can be. It is a breath of fresh air. No pretence, life as crunchy and juicy as it can be dished by you in delightful unexpected tidbits, full of wit and surprises.
Watch out for those puddles.

Hi Tony, please take the politics away, I should never have dabbled,
I look and feel similar to a feeble sparrow, fallen from its deserted nest in winter, being stared at by a fat cat, that is wondering, can I manage that self roasting fool, in one small bite ? Or shall I just let him flap about for entertainment . I will stick with poems of and on, my emotions, silly, sad, and me. Thanks again Tony for your humour disguised in helpful encouragement . Mike

lionladroar, much more colorful poem coming from the one sitting in the puddle than it would be from a man sitting high and dry on a park bench writing about a man sitting in a puddle.

Hi marieclaire , wolf , wolf , their there !
Thank you for your joyful
encouragement, this happened tuesday afternoon on my walk into the village of Bradfield , I did not set out too act the goat, though often end up doing so ! I was crossing the road, or rather, what was once a road, at the moment the high street is being made wider and resembles a motorbike scrambling track . I leapt a puddle clearing it easily, tho I never thought of my landing. What else can one do ? when your ase is sitting in a puddle but laugh ! Thank you again mam.
Mike

lion, this makes me smile...
It is fresh irreverent and quirky. We are all kids at heart and why not? Is there a four legged friend mentioned? or was it my imagination?
