No-not particularly-but it might have been fractionaly better than if we had been left to our biological parents! Not too sure about that.Chris.

I'm assuming this is a self portrait.  Either way it's sad but did "they" provide you with a good life?  If they did, looking back with condemnation or regret doesn't serve you (or anyone) well.  But... I don't walk in your shoes.   Touching post about the hunger for a mother's love.
