Flying home on the plane was sad,

because I am not sure when I will see Michael next.  He does not like to fly and the distance from his home to mine is about 1600 miles.

The airplane experienced a delay at Las Vegas and we left some 45 minutes late.  The weather had been messy on the East Coast and we lost some time in the air because of that factor.  I had a talking seat mate and I go little time for rest.  Arriving home safely was terrific.

My time with Michael was fun.  We met and picked up our conversations we had started on the internet.  We found sometime a little delay in response but never overwhelming or difficult.  In fact, our being together is easy. Neither of us get too excited about little things and procedure is flexible.

I wonder just how he feel about me dear friends. I admire his quiet attitude about the future now.  He was at one time figuring how to make his life in AZ come to a conclusion and move here. Now instead of verbal conversation he is thinking about all this.  I feel somewhat left out and wonder if it is a permanent situation.  We shall see.  In the meantime I am playing it slow and easy, not a part of my true personality.  I seem to be more spontaneous and wear my feeling on my sleeve.  However, you know we are all different.

Life is a funny thing don't you agree?  I will be thinking about this situation for a long time.  There are many positive things about our friendship and these things will have to be predominate, now and in the future.

The stars are the brightest I have ever seen there on the open Mohave Desert where Michael lives. The Coyote often fill the space with howls. With the moon coming up late, the entire sky sparkles with  twinkling stars.  The dark of the night is truly dark. Only the lights in far off Las Vegas can be seen to the North.

During the day the sounds of birds, crowing of the raven, snorts of the wild burro( quite friendly actually) and an occasional plane fill the eyes and ears of this visitor.  We cannot appreciate quiet until one sits, waits and hears nothing except the beating of your own heart or wind blowing against the building or brush.  Ah, the western USA is magnificent.

More t report next time.

Lou

Offbeats and on again,

thats the way my heart is beathing...

The trip was full of surprises, this Michael has it all together!  He is spiritual, strong physically and desirable..Wow, now, how about that?

We toured historical and natural areas, hiked a little, went to Lake Havasu which is the home of the London Bridge from England and re constructed there on the lake.  We shared some good meals, by the way, Michael is a good cook.

In honor of the season, I prepared a Thanksgiving Meal for us, including the turkey and stuffing.

I was really sad to have to leave yesterday for the long trip back to the East Coast,  I hope to hear from him this evening.  The time difference throws off our earlier communication.

Sally, there is chemistry

I'll be back with you soon.
