ladychardonnay, I discovered Pink Floyd late in life. i was 50 the first t
time I heard the Wall beginning to end. I was obsessed with it for an entire year that year. I listened to it morning and night, at school, in the car and at home. i wore one set of CD's out and bought another. Lol Of course I had heard "We don't need no education" on the radio, but that's all.

lady, the fact that they censored Elvis tells you why they had such a revol
ution with their young people in the fifties. James Dean, Jack Keruoac, alain Ginsberg were extremists who led the teenagers out of the security and boredom of the Eisenhower years.

Lady, OK, we were talking about the Mamas and Papas. Now I get you. I saw
the Beatles too in 64. Did you see Elvis on Ed Sullivan? No, you couldn't have if you were born in 59. I was born in 50. My parents were liberal democrats, and sat there patiently and wisely, I think, left the room when Elvis started.

Divinediva & ladychardonnay, I don't remember them n Ed Sullivan. It would
have to have been middle 60's? How long was Ed on? i watched the George Gobel Show on Saturday nights until 1970.
