You had better sit down, Julia, those heating bills can be pretty intimidating. Don't forget, you need those thermal long johns. lol

Julia, Last year Son #3 bought me a personal, lightl-weight ceramic element heater. I use it whenever I am not moving around, like when I'm at the computer. It is very easy to move from one place to another. It really cuts down on the overall heating bill.

Lol Julia - welcome to the rest of the world...:)
I have a wood burner and 2 fireplaces, so that helps with the bill. Chopping wood is good exercise too, haha...

...joking, I buy it and stack it. Stay layered and warm.

You sound much too much like me
I really, really hate the cold weather and if I didn't have a husband and kid that actually required me to get out of the house, I would never leave.

Don't be too envious of your old friend, California. I think they're being drenched at the moment.... Curl up in that blanket!

Julia...
Please...please don't freeze your patooty off. It's part of what makes you, you. Without a patooty you would just be a ...well...I don't know what you would be. So, I want you to make patooty preservation your highest priority, ok?

You'll have to buy yourself some thermal longjohns, Julia, and just live in them. That's what I do when it gets really, really cold.

Are you in Ohio, Julia? I forget. I think MysticGmeKpr moved back there,
too. We have sun right now, but who knows for how long, it's been the wettest November on record and it is only the 17th,. I hate that! It interferes with my walks.

some days there is sun, and some days not.
But even with the sun, it doesn't warm the temp to much about 45 degrees. I'm hatin' this! But everyone says, "Oh, you'll get used to it." Yeah...right.

have to walk, it helps me sort my mind and enjoy nature.
