I hate to admit this, but I am leaning toward starting a book and leaving here. It's just too time consuming. What little time I have in the morning is spent here. I am being forced to choose, I'm afraid.

Jullia, we used to watch NCIS a lot, are you thinking of Mark Harmon,

the chief investigator, or the younger ones, Dinozoo or McGee?  It's kind of weird to see David McCallum, the Man From UNCLE, as medical examiner, Ducky.

As to your question, yes, cluelessness is everywhere.  I guess they were trying to sound cute.

Positive--
I gather that it's a drama, fictional but some of these shows actually use cases similar to real life. I don't really watch this, it was just on in the background.

shellyb--
don't take it personally, lol. I'm sure the writers were just going for a bit of comic relief. ;-) It was all said rather sarcastically. I thought it was a funny line! (but I ain't no loser, LMAO).

Is this a fictional crime series, or was it for real?

It's weird..I thought blogging has become more popular these days..

but I still get confused looks when I mention the word "Blog"

Oh, and remind me to write a letter to the guy who wrote that script.  "Losers?" We are just the same as anyone else.  We just express are opinions and views with words, not sound.
