Whacky, I loved Ron Howard as a little boy.  In one of his movies, The Courtship of Eddie's Father, he kept saying he didn't like his Dad's fiance because she had "skinny eyes".  He never could explain just what he meant by skinny eyes.  Maybe he meant shifty eyes.  LOL

Whacky, that phrase "shifty eyes" has always brought a grin to my face
....sort of like "wandering eyes" (hey, eye, get back here!)....hmm, I smell a possible post.....

hahahaha
Whacky, how funny you are!!  LOL

I would prefer to think that Shifty was actually acting shifty, and he's doing a great job acting.  Then again, I guess if he's hiding in somebody's closet, he really doesn't need to do a great job "acting shifty" since the script moreorless presents him as such.

Your comments on the pregnancy thing and your grandmother coming in to catch a glimpse, then the commercial was a hoot.

I have missed your humor so much!  Great job!

Whacky - I am a "Days of our lives" fan and hate missing an episode..

I am different though.  I have to have my full attention on the TV, it is kind of relaxing to me and something I love doing.  I don't get much time to watch TV but love watching my fav soap.  Although I have to tape it all the time, it is on at a time where I am busy with the kids so I watch it later in the evening when they are all asleep and I have some peace.  I know we are a bit behind (like 3 years) from Americans.  I am not sure if you watch but at the moment the soap is showing where Doug found out that Marlena is the Salem Stalker/killer.  I don't really watch Young and the Restless, watched it many years ago but not anymore.

Whacky-
It is very hard for me  to sit still long enough to watch TV without falling asleep so I watch my soaps (a big Y&R fan for 25 years!) with a TV on in 3 rooms so I can keep track as I run from room to room.  I've been using a walker with a basket on the front and since I fall asleep easiest since surgery, it keeps me upright and delivering things from room to room.  I never seem to run out of stuff to stick in my basket and run it to another room.   I've been able to cut way down on pain meds so can tolerate inactivity and stay awake the past few days!  Thanks heavens -- which reminds me, how come soap stars stay in the hospital for days and days, perfectly fine, when they sent me home after saying I would stay 24 hours at least? Three incisions and I had two sets of orders.  One said I  stayed and just when I got my first meal in 24 hours, they come in and tell me I'm going!  I ate fast!  Even dried up, saltless hospital food tasted so good.  They knew I wasn't nauseous at least!

Mrs Tanga loves her soaps
and seems lost when she misses an episode of "Days of Our Lives" I try and read while she watches, but must admit that I glance up every now and then. The glance is enough to keep me updated.

Constantly, Whacky, I can barely "single-task", I want to be doing too many
things at once. I have to really watch that.
