I'm with, Tony....
What a myriad of thoughts and infusions of powerful images. Right from the beginning when the Greeks are playing dot-to-date puzzles, to God counting like a boy palming marbles, to Spanish moss creating confessionals – it’s all stunning, vibrant, and nothing less than brilliant.

Hello Sarah
I love this, one of the best poems I've read on Blogit since I joined. Phew. I'm starving hungry and yet I couldn't resist reading it and a couple of posts below that I'd missed.
I don't know all of those bands and singers, but I own the new Killers CD and listen to it in my car quite a lot. I quite like it, even tho some say it's not as good as the first, but I think it's about equal. I didn't like Indie Rock N Roll on the first album at all, or Somebody Told Me. The only duffer on the new album is Bones, or maybe Why Do I Keep Counting, but the rest is good.
I don't know about past lives and druids, but obviously the poetic strain is a common thread in people throughout the ages, and druids might in some cases have been the ancestors of some of these writers. Sorry, can't do better than that, I need to eat!
