I see you are still around once in a while.  I'm so glad you haven't disappeared completely from us.  Please have a merry and blessed Christmas and then come back here and write some more.

LOL, mneme.  I often don't make sense, to me anyway.  Thanks for your kind thoughts, and I may be sane some time this week, which will be a novelty.

when did you ever not make sense, and what does that say about the rest of us..? but seriously, hope you are feeling like your old self again soon.

TAPS
IF you get any older, TAPS?  We were talking to a really old woman on Sunday (92 and as bright as a button) and as she was chatting she mentioned that she had spent the previous day writing out cheques for her 2007 mortgage payments.  THAT is what I call optimism.

LOL, Johnmacnab.  If I get any older, I'm gonna have to look into one of those contraptions.  Mine doesn't have that amenity.

Thank you mneme.  I'm very surprised at having readers check in to see why I haven't been writing.  It makes me feel all warm and cosy.  I should be making more sense soon - I hope.

Luckily for both of us, TAPS, we have two recliners that do just that - not that I use that particular device very often, you understand.

I wondered if there was something like that.. look after yourself.

JohnMacNab, If you haven't already gotten that recliner chair, make sure you get one that pushes you up and out of it when you do have reason to be on your feet.  Getting out of that wonderfully comfortable Lazy-boy can be the most hazardous part of the whole thing.  I'm sorry that you have been feeling poorly.

Thank you for checking in jacenta.   I haven't been well for the past few days, but I think I'm better now.  You never know, I might even be able to dazzle you and other Blogit members with scintillating stories.

I had an obliging 'go-fer' as it happens, mneme, which is just as well, as I haven't been with it for a a few days.  Thanks for looking in.

johmnacnab, have you fallen asleep in that recliner??

Just checking in.

a recliner and a laptop are a very comfortable combination... so comfortable that you don't want to get up, so an obliging 'go-fer' is a nice add-on...

And - to save myself from moving while watching the TV, I could get a Scotch IV.  Now there's a good idea.

A beer barrel for Christmas, lol, JohnMcnab, why waste time? It will only
annoy you to have to make more trips.  Ell should oblige, if only to keep you happy, always a worthy goal.

Whacky
You're right, Whacky.  I was thinking that 'beer is food' but the occasional bag of snacks would not go amiss.

Almost, jacenta, almost.  But if the 'almost' had been included I would have been posting in 'Mature Audiences.'

You forgot to ask for a plce to keep snacks!

Better put that on your list....Don't want you to starve!

johnmacnab....
With the fulfillment of that Christmas list, you will just have it made won't you, almost?
