Poetry being what it is,
delightful and pleasant
not morbid.
I 'm glad you wrote
your words I read
Angls and guardians
watch over our heads.

Burr, hot chocolate does the trick. I had a terrific bowl of chicken noodle soup, homemade, for supper. Sure does warm up the old tummy on a cold night. Hope you are staying warm.

Hi Taps
Ah, the weather is getting more like Christmas even as I write. The rain started and it is bitter cold. The neighbor's Christmas lights are relly pretty and there is a little Christmas Spirit hovering over head.
I think our memories of yesteryear reappear, do you agree?

Oh, I have a poem for you, cameraeye ~
They took my photo
and with it his love.
He always stares
at the models above.
Like angels all hovering
over my head.
I wish all those god damned me angels
were DEAD!
(Not really.)

Cameraeye, I have many pleasant memories of winters past. I also have a few memories of standing over a furnace register trying to get warm and one or two memories of car trouble in ice and snow in the middle of nowhere in the middle of the night. LOL

Hi Sllly,
it would be great to share a bottle of wine with you and girl talk sure sounds good. I think the weather will be cozy this weekend, the temperature is falling.. and I put up some white Christmas lights in the picture window. Looks good I think.

Well I could go for a hot cup of cocoa...
We didn't get a flake of snow last night..
Somehow there is romance in the good ole days when times were trying..I can remember some real doozie blizzards that kept us in the house for days. We always had a good time. I don't think we even watched TV..
Of course I would have loved to have awaken with snow because I had my sled all ready to go...
You fireplace sound wonderful, may I join you some time? Perhaps we could share a nice bottle of wine and some girl talk?
