It takes courage to speak the truth. even just to oneself.
There will always be such a thing as political correctness, at the root of intolerance is fear. Fear of being outcast, or kicked out of power, depending on where you stand on the social ladder of power. First and foremost, we have to be true to ourselves, that is where it starts.

Excellent write in Sonnet Tony, I remember the fathers armchair ''May God help you if I catch you sitting there.' As soon as he left for work, 2 /10 and 6/2 shift work , I would be up dancing on top of it. From the first time of T.REX until I returned home in 77 dressed as Johnny rotten.  Entertaining, interesting, and skillful Tony.

Society is rather driven by "conformity", isn't it?  If you stand out in a crowd, speak your mind, challenge the norm, or even look a little different it can sometimes raise the hair on other people's backs.  Why is that?  Isn't uniqueness what makes the world go round?
