You're too kind, Bhaskar.ing ...
I just try to write like I talk ... it's no big deal, really.

Superbly written. I greatly love such creative pieces, said so disarmingly a style. Wish I had a bit of your talent! Honestly! No intended pun here.

...The first one is you and the second, me.

ballgame. LOL> Personally, I believe Mr. Nimrod was out of line...

IN that case, I don't think you're too young to learn this about men:::
NEVER SPEAK DURING A TELEVISED SPORTING EVENT THEY ARE WATCHING.
The only thing that it's acceptable to say is:
"HOney, can I get you a beer?"

"DO YOU TALK ALOT DURING FOOTBALL?'
If so, let me assure you that this is frowned upon by ALL men everywhere.

yes troy polamolu - when i was a manager at the hilton they stayed there for their home games and i got to meet them and the older ones too. ben is very mean and unfriendly - but troy and alot of the other are so friendly - especially bill cowher. they rode the service elevators and naturally we had to feed them - you would not believe what these guys eat before a game!!! i wasn't working there last year and i am glad - total mayhem

It's a little odd but a reality that we DO think our companion should
defend our honour when someone says something rude to us (and Farguuar was most certainly a jerk). I suspect they probably think "If someone pissed you off - deal with it". OK - so there's some merit to this but I'd still be a little disappointed if B didn't grunt out at least a little something.

you should here the screaming and yelling throughout the neighborhood during games - and we are losing this year. My neighbor went outside a few weeks ago after a big loss and threw his garbage cans in the middle of the road - they are very intense around here!!!

Yeah, LadyChardonnay, excessive perspiration is not exactly an endearing trait.
I can't fathom how some people can become so emotionally invested in the outcome of a sporting event ... unless, of course, they have a lot of money riding on it, or something.
