Hi everyone - thanks for stopping by.
Yes, Troosha -I missed yesterday, but I wrote a sonnet anyway while still not quite right in the head. I'm going to post that first and then one for today!

Tony
Missed your post yesterday. This is quite interesting - I take it you are part of a test program. Are the marijuana capsules being tested to minimize pain? We have them here and you can get them by prescription but they are normally doled out to people with cancer undergoing chemo (and who need to get their appetite back).

Tony, why is it that you have to undergo the check-up thrice a year?
Everything all right?

Tonyzonit,
I have to smile at the irony of the taxman having tax-free earnings. - and the a-b-b-a (Italian?) rhyme scheme works really well.

Hi all - and nice to see you Moon and Drohan.
Yes, I don't mind walking. I'll be listening to music on the way, and while I'm there, as well - especially if I feel high. The two go well together. I'll be walking thru the busy noisy Manchester streets anyway. And the road in that direection has more buses than any other road in the country!
Yes, ST, they do have store Santas. We took my daughter to see one this morning. She's always been scared of Santa, or Father Christmas as we usually call him. This one was nicer than usual, but his face was almost totally obscured by white wig and beard, so that he looked like a hundred year old tramp! No wonder kids are scared!

the tablet doesn't sound so bad. . .
but good luck with the skin inflammation. A strange way to get Christmas money. Do they have department store Santas in the U.K.--that seems like that would be a cool holiday job. Even dressing up as a department store Satan would be better than being a guinea pig. But then, earning a guinea is nothing to turn your nose up at!
