It is like the flipsides of a coin
As a child I spent all of my holidays with family on farms - it was the best of times for a kid. Later I thought for a nanosecond about a marrying a farmer. Part of me regrets the life that was not to be but not enough to do it

Joe - I will say the barren hill doesn't look so great in the winter...but

"Sitting on top of a hill isn't that fun for a single person." No doubt. Does anyone ever live the life they've envisioned for themself? Happy birthday!

I am living exactly the opposite life I had intended for myself
I was going to fly all over the globe and live in a Manhattan Apartment or a Greenwich Village loft. Instead, I live in a quiet farming community, married to the polar opposite of who I had expected and I plant things, can things, freeze things and I have the best life I could ever hope for.
