Tonyzonit...

I love this Sonnet, so down to earth and realistic.  It reminded me of my son, the little shepherd boy that escaped from the church basement, just before the play began.  He was going to find his mommy, regardless what his Sunday school teacher said.  He hurriedly climbed the stairs and found me. Hah-Hah! Your daughter was just showing she had character!

What criteria do you use for your sonnets, fourteen lines and ten syllables per line?  I counted the syllables in the sonnet you last posted, most had ten syllables per line.  Nice post, Tony.

Tee hee - thanks for your comments, everyone.

Yes, coolacen, it's exactly how it happened! Mike, I've never been in a donkey suit. I've missed that important part of British life. And the rear end - the ultimate honour!!

Yes, she sure is a rebel but a nice one (mainly)!

Hi Tony
The Sonnet sung of a fathers love for his daughter whom can do no wrong in his eyes, also mixed with your excellent wit Tony. I always managed the stage but still no one cast their eyes upon me. I was always played the part of the rear end of the donkey, blanketed in woollen grey skin, with the mother of Jesus riding on my arched back. That was my nativity play and my yearly purgatory.
