I'm pretty sure he can handle that...he had to get over the surprise of that after he came home and I took him to meet my Vet's at the VFW. I hada room full of new daddies he had never met LOL!

After ten years and a great deal of humor we have found our own "unique" way through many of the crappy hands that life can deal us. Don't expect the other to be perfect and find humor in the flaws and it will take you both further than you could ever possibly imagine.

Do you like making me cry?
I wasn't with Eddie when he did his tours in Iraq, which is both fortunate (being a grunt in the Marines I would get so little communication from him and go raving mad), and unfortunate (he didn't have many people to get him through it)... but I was with Billy when he went over. He was in the green zone, and being bombed every morning as we talked online. It was still too much. The guy that replaced him, that he trained, was killed. We came out of Iraq dear friends, but I read this... well, I just remember how much he said all my letters and emails (and blogs when he could get to them) meant to him. I'm glad it's not just me that give the boy a hard thing about the little things.
You sound so at ease with all the little things, I'm still learning that. :|
