A Norseman,
I've also heard that AIDS/HIV babies lack love and cuddles - babies certainly don't mind a "6' 2", 270 pound, bearded Viking sort of fellow".

Thanks Joe_love...
I'll take that under advisement...Actually I think I have changed my share...and I used cloth diapers! It's an idea though, thanks.

How about starting a business, offering a service to. . . ,
change babies?? You know, that's a nasty job. I'm sure there's some wealthy women out there who would pay for that! Then, you'd get to "hold" them right before you "changed" the diapers!!?? (grin)
Happy reflections to you during the Holiday Season.

Oh, and one more thing....
I really think you should build things because; you could build things for animals, children and babies, and boats for old men to go fishing in, then you could write stories about building things and poems about the animals & children & babies and fishing stories about the old men! Besides, nothing's sexier than a man in a tool belt.

Ever thought about politics?
Oh, that's working with animals and kissing babies? I think most of us get reflective at the end of the year, I certainly do. I personally don't believe any path chosen can be right or wrong. I feel there are signs & wonders along every path, it's just learning to read the signs and interpret the directions in order to see the wonders is all.

That sounds wonderful! A wine sipping movie watcher that plays with dogs and does accents!!!! BRILLIANT!! Somewhere in the world someone has to be doing just that. The type of job that takes some time to cultivate I imagine. Thanks for reading!

TAPS...
For all my good intentions, I think I am ill-suited for the job. There just aren't alot of people these days who will enthusiastically thrust their babies into the arms of a 6' 2", 270 pound, bearded Viking sort of fellow.

The same reason I never tried starting a daycare.

I kind of go through the same thing. It seems to be a time of reflection, even if you're not into the whole holiday to-do. And I also seem to realize that the things I enjoy or that are important to me have very little to do with how I spend most of my time (working a job I hate, being idle, etc.) I've always wanted a job as a wine-sipping movie watcher who plays wit dogs and does differnet accents. Seems there's no more of a market for that then baby-holder.
Of course it doesn't pay, but maybe you could hold babies with HIV and AIDS at a local hospital?? I htink I've heard of people doing that.

Have you tried Wal-Mart? They hire greeters, why not baby holders for harried customers?
