Sabs, if you really work at it, you can make progress quickly
"Quickly" is still in years but fewer years.

I've mentioned before that I've heard of people who build houses on a pay-as-you-go basis without getting a mortgage. In my experience, they're motivated by their understanding of the Bible; I understand there's a Bible verse that says something like "owe no man any debt but love," and they take that to mean that even mortgages are prohibited by the Bible. You can't owe anyone a dime, financially.

that's quite good info; yeh sometimes i too feel cheated by these lenders;good to learn that u been making progres in spite of the previous set-backs!
