TAPS-
Thank you for reading this. I thought about you and my nursing sisters who spent more of their holidays with patients and felt the same as you. May you have a most joyous Christmas, and hopefully this year with your family. Any patient who happens to be stuck in the hospital over the holidays is grateful to medical staff who keep things going. I had my second mammogram to confirm my malignancy the day after Christmas. (What a wake-up call.) Just two years ago. It was back to business! IT was the same day as my friend's four-year old's funeral. We both were dealing with life and death. I digress. Blessings to you!!

CeeMarie, you made my day with your beautiful story of love
and compassion! You and the staff certainly did treat a family in need and how pleased the Lord was with your care and concern for the others in need! Blessings on you and yours and may the family you write about be at peace in home filled with love and joy today! Blessings!

Thank you for this beautiful reminder of what Christmas is all about. I have worked many Christmas's as a nurse. Usually I volunteered because so many of the nurses were young mothers who so wanted to be home with their little ones on Christmas. I must say that every Christmas Eve, every Christmas Day that I was on duty, I was blessed beyond measure in ways that I never expected.
