Good for you. I don't like to throw away things that might be collectors items but I'm not sentimental about old cassettes. I am from Garrison Keillor's home states

Getting stuff from cassettes is quite easy. You can do it yourself if you have a player that you can record on the CDs. Or, you cuold take it to a store and have it done. Anther idea would be to get a teenager to do it for you! Cheers.

merry christmas greenfields.
i can not yet part with my cassettes, music montages i have made over the years. i also have a cassette player in storage to give to my nephew when he's a grown man, it will be included with a 90 minute tape i made when the two of us sat around playing one day, he was five.
what i need to do is figure out how to get this stuff stored on cd!
