Wow, Whacky
I always step out on the deck and listen to the gunfire.  I never knew anyone who was hit.  But I can see that could be a distinct possibility.

I used to be fascinated by "midnight" a lot. I totally agree with you on
how witching this hour is. Happy New Year!

Yikes,-
Sounds like Iraq with those bullets whizzing around.  I think bricks are pretty insulating against bullets. It's those DUI's I'd be worried about on NYE!  Have a great New Year!

Talk about being in the wrong place at the wrong time . . . . .
But glad it was only his shoulder and not his lungs, heart, aorta, pulmonary artery or . . . brain!

Some bullets can go through brick walls, but it's not likely.
Geez, that sucks for your friend. What a way to spend New Year's.  One New Year's, I was playing football at our friend's house and I jammed my finger.  I spent New Year's at the hospital.  But, it's not as bad as accidentally getting shot like your friend.  Happy New Year

Whacky,
I was just thinking "what goes up must come down" and then read your next paragraph. Funny. Anyway, it's true about that. People aren't very bright (the IP) and with guns and explosive stuff in hand? Fuugettabout it!!

Ick! I've never heard of anyone getting struck by a stray New Year's Eve
bullet!!  Ohmy!  That would be a sucky way to start of a new year!

It is common to see photos of bullet ridden walls, it depends on the strength of the firearms.

Happy New Year to you too. 4 clicks are here.
