but for sure I was not worried that you were having to reserve a space in a facility like one in which I once worked. You're too sharp for that, dear lady!

I have a heck of a time making the transition to a new year (when writing a cheque). Even worse though is when I seem to be in la, la land and I write a cheque and write 1989 or something equally weird. Don’t laugh – I’ve done it a number of times. With a great deal of embarrassment I look at the person and simply say “I wonder what significance 1989 has for me today” but I’m still blushing.
