If they improved solar power products,
and made them less expensive, I think they would catch on.  I see panels on the highway for various things like street lamps or call boxes.  I'm allergic to mold. Severely allergic. Too bad about the house because it seems like the people who built were trying to be more eco-friendly. Take care

I have a mechanical self-charge flashlight that stores power from kinetic energy when you rotate some wheels.

oh whacky you silly goose--
the flashlight will still work when the sun goes down because the solar panels hold a charge. Though I'm not sure how bright the light would be. My solar walkway lights are pretty dim in the winter.

A calculator luv. Those solar panels used to get so hot they'd just break and it's expensive to change 'em. Blah

Whacky...
I have a solar powered snow shovel.  (think about it)  There is a show on TV called "living with Ed" which is about Ed Begley Jr who is really into the environmental movement.  He has solar cells on his house, but they don't track.  You do have to wash them about 4 times a year.  Geez, that's more often that I wash my windows!  I'm going to get a solar powered battery charger for my RV.  I will buy it at night, I think they're cheaper then.

Solar panelled houses sure didn't take off like everybody
thought they would back then.  I thought they were weird looking, too.
