God as a mirror
I quite liked that first one. To me, it emphasizes that the connection between all people (and everything in general) is a giant blueprint of what we like to call "God." And even tiresome individuals (yes, ourselves included) belong in the grand scheme of things! If you don't mind, I'll pass this one along to my mother; she will love it!

Faholo, I like that one too--
a variation:
It's okay for someone to be wrong. Realizing I dont' have to make corrections on things that don't really matter much, just because I think someone is on the wrong heading. If they ever need a correction, the Universe will be sure they get it... Or I'll get the correction, if that's who's wrong!

Hi, Julia!
That's what mantras are for-- reminders, until we don't need them anymore!

Hi, Ariel! Thanks for reading and for your comment--
I recently watched Bill Moyers interviewing couple of philolosophers on either side of the belief line--each well-established in their own beliefs. It occurs to me that we all believe something, so we are all believers, even if it is a belief that there is no personal God, or that God is not what most religions teach that it is.

Good thoughts to govern our day, Ceil!
Here's my favorites: Let it be!...What difference does it make, that I choose to be who I am? Blessings!

interesting. I guess I need to practice that second one a bit more, until I can actually start believing it...

Bit disturbing when you look in a mirror and see your father. Or mother, if you're female.
Although I'm a non-believer, I do like to see you believers happy, secure in your faith and respectful of others who don't share it.
Thank you
