Yes, Offbeats, I visited my parents on my way home from spending
Christmas with daughter Anne and her daughter, Zoe, who turns 4 tomorrow.
I guess I forgave my mom a lot when I found out that she had had a worse childhood than I did!

Is that who you went to visit? Your mother? I think about those years to come and I am so thankful I do not have that kind of history with my children, but I can't remember my Mothers face these days...Very nice Ceil...

Sounds very cathartic. I think the hardest heart is capable of finding love and forgiveness. It is more a matter of willingness than anything else. Very touching.
