Whacky...
You could take a hair dryer to it, that might make it crack or something.  Then you would have an iceberg with split ends.  Or you could take a hammer to it, a sledge hammer if you have one.  You can also put dirt on it and the sun will melt it.  If my calculations are correct, it should by gone my mid-August.

Not only will rock salt

melt the ice it will melt your concrete if you leave it on very long.  Ask me how I know?  Right, I did it a couple of years ago.  As for Bo, well you have started the tradition now.  He probably sits and says to his friends "My Pet gives me a message when I come inside, such dear people. " LOL

Sorry for misspelling Iceburg!

Iceburg Problem...Iceburg Solution...
Whacky, buy some Iceburg Lettuce, let's say 2 or 3 of them. What you can do then is strip the leaves off and place them over the 'real Iceburg'. This will do two things.  First it will create the illusion that it is some kind of bush, and second the leaves will provide some kind of traction as your car's tires rollover it. Though I write comedy, I am open to assist people with helpful tips here and there.

I wish we could get some of that cold weather here!
Today it was in the 70's.

That's a lot of ice! When I was little, our driveway would ice up, and I'd try going skating on it...hahaha

An iceberg!  LMAO!  Take a blow torch to it.  That ought to do the trick!

Funny how dogs get into their own little routines.
I doubt Bo is getting any warmer when you're drying him off.  I'd say he's more appreciating the rubdown (spoiled pooch!)

Throw hot water on it!!! That should do it!
I thought it was funny that your dog now wants a rub down every time he comes indoors...you've spoiled him!!!     woof-woof

Whacky

Take a mattock to it. That's the only thing I can think of. Or a chainsaw.

I ran into a hardened chunk of ice and snow one time with the ambulance, thinking that I would pulverize it. We nearly wrecked!

I would like at least one good snow here for the boys.

I have given Bam-Bam numerous baths when he comes inside. He rips through the yard and gets mud all underneath himself. The towels just rub it in.

Since there are snow blowers, there might also be
iceberg blowers?

Whacky,
At least you don't have to deal with a Rottweiler that assumes she gets to "kill" the towel after being out in the rain or snow. She got to the point as to where we didn't even have 5 seconds to dry her off without her trying to grab it and "kill" it.

Hi, Whacky,
We haven't seen any snow in this area, yet.  I'm glad, because I'd hate to have to travel in it.  As for melting your iceberg, hmmm... Maybe you should move it to the gutter first, and then wait for the warmer temperatures to do the job for you.  That way, you won't have a slippery mess in your driveway.  If you get up to 45 degrees tonight, I'll bet that will do the trick.  Maybe you could take a picture of it and post it here so that we could all see it before you get rid of it.  :)
