You didn't initiate any of this, and I know it has been going on for a long time.
Usually I just blow off the snide comments here and there, but when I find whole derogatory posts making these accusations that I know are not true, I tend to lose my calm demeanure and make a long derogatory comment, like I happened to do on someone's post last night.

I know there are "others" as well. I used to try to return every click and comment when other's commented on me. I don't do that anymore. I still try to read the people who comment to me, but I just don't comment like I used to. Some posts I can relate to and find it easy to comment, others I don't. Sometimes, I'm just not up to commenting much.
I know what you are saying though. And I understand.
For me it is not a big deal. If there was someone that just posted a general comment to get clicks, then that is sad, but I haven't seen "much" of that here. And even if I do, it's not worth me getting stressed about. I sincerely believe that most that comment to me, no matter what kind of comment is left, have read, at least some of what I've wrote. Aside from the title, I mean

I know you are assuming this is aimed at one person dear to you and someone even named and made that assumption that person. For me it is not that person, on occasion I get a blanket comment from him but there are also times when he makes enough of a comment that I know he read my post. There is another person who has never made any kind of comment to me beyond "hi" and to be honest, it annoys the hell out of me. I take the time to read those who come to my blog and while I know nobody has time to always leave comments, an occasional comment telling me that what I am writing is worthwhile, makes a difference. There are points when it takes me days to catch up with comments, etc... I would prefer that over someone who simply never reads me.
