Thank you for what I think is the most balanced and fair-to-all position on this subject! Your comment, in fact, respresents, in all particulars, my own feelings on the matter, and I plan on posting a follow-up entry to clarify this position. We all have a serious responsiblity when stating our opininions and should at all times be respectful and considerate of others. Please read and feel free to comment on this new forthcoming post, since it is your comment which has inspired it.

I really don't pay attention to one's claimed religion label or non-believing label in regard to whom I do or don't trust. I trust that everyone has their own personal truths and accept them as such. Guess I'm easy that way!

Agnostics and Atheists are as different as believers and nonbelievers
I think that I am too ignorant to know anything for certain. Except for maybe pain and the opposite of pain.... and I wonder...

Good job making the distinction between Agnostics and
Atheists. I think some agnostics once believed in God. I also think atheists are some times so forceful in proclaiming their disbelief, it is their fear there is a God, whom they are unworthy of! Blessings!
