Julia,
as to 'seats' - the 'warmest' one you can get is a wooden one.
But I am far more interested is something else - the comment you left on my blog! Were you serious when you said you felt green? Did those pictures actually induce a feeling of seasickness? I would find that extremely interesting. If so, I wonder if there are others who have the same experience. Maybe I should put a question at the end of that blog...

I agree, I don't get used to adverse things. You have smart kitties, they know better than to be outside babies. I looked at Presleys seat cover sounds great, but I wondered are those shock waves to the sides???? Could be a two fold situation. LOL

I can safely say this is something I rarely, if ever, encounter. This is not a problem for those of us who stand.

Julia.
Speaking of CA, my niece and hubby in Sacramento just emailed me and said they had a new first ever for living in CA. They had to wrap their outside pipes. And, "R" in Phoenix sent me pics via email with his three-tiered patio fountain frozen and icicles hanging from each level. What happened to global warming? LOL

Yikes, what state are you in? That's a little too cold even for me, and I'm a fan of cold weather! It's a sunny, beautiful 32 degrees here in Dallas now that the flooding, sleet and freezing rain are gone. Oh, sorry to gloat.

It works pretty well, hehe. Better than a frosty bum. I saw it on "Funny Videos" a long time ago and thought, "yeah, why not!"

Freak Five--
Well, CA "cold" is still a far cry from minus 20 frickin' degrees! LOL.
I've been known to blow dry the toilet seat to warm it up.

I just talked to a friend in CA and for what it's worth...it isn't warm there either..In fact it isn't warm anywhere it seems. Right now we are at a 47 degree moderate for Ohio. I talked to my ex husband this morning and he said he has to go to northern MN. later this week. I hope he has his artic gear out. We are supposed to get the mid west storm either tonight or tomorrow...
But when it comes to cold toilet seats...I squat..Freak 5 out~

LOL, no, I'm not terribly fond of getting scratched from head to toe, which is what I am sure would happen if I attempted to sweater the cats.

it was about 1,000 miles when I drove out; yes, I guess it DOES make that big of a difference! We rarely had any nights below freezing in Northern CA...

you aren't THAT far away from California are you? And for the record NO, you don't get used to it and heated toilet seats are known to cause fires and melt!
