I am told, however, that not enough people cleaned the streets of horse poop. And the habits of humans were so unclean that we could could people by bretahing on them, as Hernan Cortes, Capt. John Smith and Pizzaro often did to American Indians. There is a trite term, but it speaks to me: "Smart Growth," including using roofs that allow the planting of trees and foliage that will recuycle CO2 as well as keep a more constant temperature in the home/office below.
