Hi Malcolm,
Here's to knowing where you're going and making a concerted effort to get there.

Thank you everyone
for your kind comments. I too put Diana on and she didn't let me down!
I prefer to visit each of your blogs and reaqd and comment there rather than here but just to say thank you again. I'm trhilled that so many of you visit and comment - makes it all worthwhile.

Isn’t it wonderful how we can hear a song and remember almost precisely what we were doing when the song was popular (or we were singing and humming it). I love that about music. Scents as well can do that to me – take me back to a moment in time.
And oh… don’t check the rear view mirror too often. Keep looking ahead!

just remember - objects in your mirror are closer than they appear! lol
the good thing is, it they're in your rearview, they are indeed behind you. have a great day.

Not sure where I'm going anymore but do like Diana Ross.
I went to your Bookmark site but couldn't leave comment because my old computer isn't co-operating anymore.
From your other post there, I find you drinking tea in the car in my kind of winter environment.

I really enjoyed your Book Mark posts. You have a beautiful daughter. I also enjoyed reading her blog posts. Of course, because of your post on Diana Ross, I am listening to her while I read.

malcolm,
Yes to Diana Ross' songs and lyrics. I'm a fan of her ever since she was with The Supremes. Thanks.

I love so many of her songs...
Alot of us feel the way you describe, like we're lost and don't really know what our purpose is. You seem way ahead of the crowd to me.

I love that song too!
I also think the band SADE had a lot of similarly inspirational songs. You really should do the lyrics blog. That would be fun.

Bookmark? I will check it out. Malcolm, many-a-times, my hardships have had
no toher purpose than to give me a subject to write. Reminds me of a comment/analogy from the former President of Tanzania (Julius Nyerere, a good Catholic): "We need not have been colonized so that we might have the telephone." Shalom and best wishes, Neil

The boys and I listen to oldies during dinner. I hear her songs every now and then. Good post.
I also look at your other postings, but I'm not signed in under google, so I can't comment. I'm glad you're plunging ahead with your writing.
