"fantastic voyage" starring donald pleasance, raquel welch and james
brolin, among others.   the film was made in 1966 and won academy awards for best art direction/set decoration (color) and best visual effects (oh, raquel and her boobs!).  it also received nominations for best color cinematography and best film editing.

Tonyz, wasn't it "The Incredible Voyage"? I immediately though of that
movie as I began reading this sonnet tonight...was not Raquel Welch in it as well?...she had a hard time keeping her boobs in her suit....

Thanks everyone!

Wiley, it was called something like The Fantastic Journey, and Donald Pleasance was the baddie who got eaten by marauding white blood cells. Unforgettable. Although I've forgotten the exact name of it.

Fourcats - wait - I haven;t quite got to the brain yet - maybe I might continue that tomorrow... but it would be rather difficult, but why not!!

Wonderfully done...
14 lines has done you well, you extract the max without lacking clarity.

Tony
What a wonderful subject for you sonnet today – traveling within the human body. You’re right… if you had more than 14 lines to work with you could have really taken us down a journey. Loved it!

Tonyzonit
A great sonnet and it reminded me of a movie some years ago about scientists miniaturizing themselves in a small space type ship and going through a persons system to cure something or other. I can't remember the name of that movie of course, aging you see.lol

Thanks Bhaskar -
If I'd had more time, it would have been fun to develop some ideas a bit more, but only 14 lines, not really possible - not that I'm complaining. That's why I like sonnets - they don't take too long to write!

Hi Tony
All religion are, in essence, like this I.V, intravenouus journey, and therefore, your today's sonnet is religious. Kudos!
