I'm assuming that you've got migraine headaches.  Fortunately, I have only suffered from them occasionally.  I don't get many headaches at all. . , but, boy I do remember having them, so I appreciate your pain and the relief of approaching the other side of the mountain.

I had to laugh about the feigning of sore throats line...
been there, done that! My Mom couldn't physically drag me there so she let me stay in bed. Glad your headache is better and you're zipping along on your mountain path!

Malcolm
I'm glad the headache is leaving.   This is a strange coincidence, but yesterday I had the song Yes, Jesus Loves Me going through my head.  It, too, reminded me of a church I used to attend Sunday School at back when I was 7 or 8.

Malcolm…..there’s something about being dragged out to Sunday.....
School on Sunday morning….sometimes it’s great….other times, I just like to stay in Bed and crash…take it easy…get up late….have coffee on the front porch with Penelope while the Kids sleep in…sometimes it’s more spiritual just staying home…..one has to have that right feeling about things…..one needs to do what feels right inside…..not falling under obligation to follow some rigorous schedule….I never, ever, force my children to go to Sunday School…we just go with the flow!   I’ve found that keeping the family together on Sunday is of the utmost importance.  It may be at church, Sunday Dinner, or it may be hiking, going to the beach...a spiritual togetherness can occur anywhere....and you likely already know all of this and I'm sort of rambling here......sorry.
