jacenta
You are right there, jacenta. We are scared to take her to the local service station, especially if a car is pulling into the pumps as we arrive.

Thank you bel. Any Canadian driver should be able to wave, do a donut, and a pirouette on icy roads without losing control - so I'm told.

John
If one can't wave and control their car at the same time that is not your fault. Sounds to me like lack of control of the car and icy conditions were the bigger problem. What an unpleasant woman!

I think in this case cutie pie was waving bye byeee. The mailbox 'thing' had me aghast when I came here. Where I came from, the front doors had letter boxes. Here the rural areas have mailboxes at the side of the road so that the mailman can stay in his vehicle and deliver letters. Across the road from us, are ours and a next door neighbour's box and the two homes across from us...and if you don't take turns clearing the snow away from your box, you get no mail. Simplicity itself.

What's the mailbox doing across the street, anyhow?
In icy conditions, you'd think they'd keep their hands on the wheel, even if a little cutie is by the side of the road waving hello.

LOL, Whacky. She was certainly entertained. She kept pointing out onto the road and asking "More?"

Now what sort of traffic warning sign does this merit?
