Of course much of what is said about other races/relgions/ people is unacceptably offensive, and rightly is condemned by right thinking people of all religions or none.

But in a long lifetime. iIjave seen people becoming more and more alert for slights and insults ; more and more thin-skinned, so that it has come to the state where one is howled down as a racist, or whatever, for uttering a word of criticism against anybody, however well justified.

And sadly, one has to say that it is the Islamofascist wing of Islam that are the worst offenders in this. To my knowledge, three times on BBC TV spokesmen for Islam have stated that ... " England does not belong to you, it belongs to Allah."

If you know of a way that one may discuss anything with such people, I would be glad to hear it.

I'm just glad that I no longer live in England, but in Spain.

Solowriter, Ah huh ?
I am not sure if you were being fececious or not, I cannot stop the hate, but if I see fiction that is being mistaken for fact, I am going to speak up.

Ariel 70, I hear you !
This is only one set of lies I have discovered, I am sure there are many more. The problem is when an idiot creates a hate cartoon and doesn't quite comprehend that people have feelings no matter what race they are they are human, their religion is being attacked from all over the place. Religion is a hot button that will stir up passion in anyone if you cross them the wrong way. Throughout history wars were fought in the name of religion. Jerusalem itself was destroyed 17 times in the name of religion. It is hard to hold back feelings when your core beliefs are under the gun. They have the freedom of expression to proclaim their opinion. There is more than enough ammunition in the news based on facts alone than to go around creating lies. I have seen the paper online. Thank you soo much !

Perhaps they should change their sign to read, "Islam SHALL dominate."

You clearly don't read such British newspapers as The Times ( they are available on line.)

Really, whoever sent you that email was a  fool! He was obviouly also not a reader of British newspapers, otherwise he could easily have obtained actual pictures of actual Muslim in London, actually brandishing such placards.

They were demonstrating in protest at the Danish cartoons, and carrying placards calling for the Danes, among many, many other people to be murdered, beheaded, burned, whatever.

I read recently that the ringleader of this band of mad, hatefilled people who was exhorting them to all manner of violence was put on trial. I've lost track of the case, but if you call up The Times online, you can study the archive on this and other such demonstrations.

I'll look for you, if you have dificulty.

The fact that what you were sent was a wicked, stupid lie in no way detracts from the truth. Nor does it mitigate the guilt of those who clamoor for the deaths of those from whose views they dissent. Whatever their alleged " justification", they are latter day Nazis

"If you're going to hate someone, hate them based upon facts instead of false propaganda."  That's a nice way of seeing things.  Clearly.
