Decadent is a word they tack onto chocolate. When my daughter started to use the word I was upset. It represented unkept, undesirable to me. Since then I realize not only do we change our viewpoint, we reinvent words to switch responsibility. Oh well, lets us keep writing.

I am back from the trip to Phoenix and Tucson. Thanks for the best wishes and we did have a wonderful trip.
My attitude on assisting children is adjusted too. We love them and jump in to help and sometimes TOO Soon.

Thanks for your comments. I am enxperiencing using a lobby computer and it is a little weird. However, it is great to be having a wonderful vacation.
Thanks to you for the recent comments and I will get back to you individually very soon.
We visited the Airplane Museum yesterday, went to a wonderful Mission Church, experieced real Mexican food after Mass and managed to fall into bed exhausted about 9 pm. This mornig we are on our way out of Tucson and headed north.
The weather is unbelieveable and warm. This is the trickly time of year when travel is chancy. I am hopeful that your weather is improving.

I think bonds are a great way to encourage our children..Yes I have made many mistakes by throwing money at the kids to help them....but I have changed that strategy too...Glad you are having fun my dear friend!

Excellent post. I think there is much evidence all around us that bears out what you are saying. People are as decadent as we have ever been. I wonder if we have had too much too soon and without due respect, love and understanding of the value of decency.
