It's been a while
My grandmother used to make it with the whipped cream mixed in. Yum. Of course, now that I am all grown up, that would be really bad for me. Saturated fats and bad carbs.

In the Flemish kitchen, nothing like jello is made. We prefer deserts with rich cream or chocolate. Things like Crème brulée, Malakoff Charlotte, chocolate mousse, tiramisu, etc.

J e l l o !

Do you remember the radio commercials a bout J e l l o?

Well probably not, but they were a big sponsor of radio shows including Jack Benny (now please remember Jack Benny).  Well, jello revolutionized the desert menu I think.  It was one of the first commercial deserts that Mrs. Housewife could whip up in an instant.  Then came the wonderful salads.  What a wave of new ideas.

As for flavors, yes, I agree that raspberry is the best.  Good to remember all this with you.

P.S. Kids really like to eat it before it stops shaking because you know if it has stopped shaking you were told you might die. LOL (parents will tell you anything to get you to eat stuff.) LOL

Yeah
And they are good with a shot of vodka mixed in...a tad intoxicating, not recommended for Bo tho!

Whacky and Bo
I don't like Jello wigglers.  I like the old fashioned, full of sugar kind.  My favorite is cherry and orange.

I don't much like jello, except in jello cake :o)
Oh, and I've never tried jello blindfolded!

You can get unflavored jello and make it with fruit juice, too. Then you
have real flavors!

I LOVE that salad that's made out of jello, marshmallows, coconut,
sour cream, and something something, something... Know what I'm talking about?  I've never bothered to get the recipe because I know I'd eat it from dawn until dusk if I could actually create it myself.
