Perhaps Bo is telling you that the medals are there?

Whacky- Check the coin boxes.I still have my papers from day 1 of
'Greetings', to present day. Any awards, medals, badges, insignia, dogtags, zippo lighters, pocket knives and wallets, and coinage all went into special boxes. I don't even know what's in them anymore. Now my files are also in boxes, because we were trained in the military "Keep all Documentation" It didn't say keep all paperwork in order.LOL. Take your time. Peace.

I have files everywhere
and wish I had a Search Engine to look through the paper ones and those in drawers, and in the loft...

dogs don't recognize stationery objects and to have boxes suddenly appear

and not move is confusing and worrisome.  the trick i use which works well is to sit beside the boxes while the dog is watching and hug and kiss the boxes, telling them how nice they are, "what beautiful boxes, you're so great", using the same voice of love and respect that you would use for the dog.  ask the dog to come give the box a kiss, offering a cookie as a reward.  i rarely have to do this more than twice for the dog to get over itself.

is it only coincidence that "file" is a letter jumble for "life"?

I don't really have any files, myself,
but I remember when my grandmother was cleaning out drawers and cabinets at her house a while back, she came across some papers, letters that my dad had written when he was a child.  This was a while back...I know that they were letters to my grandfather, who was away at the time...I can't remember why, I think it might have just been business trips.  At first, I was thinking he was off serving in the military, but I don't think there were any wars while my father was that age.  Anyways, the letters were sweet, and it was really neat being able to read them and to think of my father as being a child...
