Bunny:

Always happy to consider new ideas and I will go to look at it, and recommend others to do so as well.  I will comment on your idea there.

Thanks!

From Bunny
Your last two posts gave me the idea to design a type of church. I've posted my ideas in Pray With Bunny. I don't think it's really your cup of tea, but I thought you'd be interested since you inspired me to design it.

Church

A church is for people. Not for God, if She exists.

I believe it was Karl Marx who correctly observed that 'Religion is an opiate for the masses.' Look around: no truer statement has been made in the last two hundred years. Church is the great absolver for responsibility, nothing more.

Krishnamurti, perhaps the most suppressed spiritual leader of all time, made many of the same observations. Of course, he was utterly ignored in the US--and still is--but then again, if Jesus came back today, he would be too.

Church
It is all of the above. Everyone of us go for a different reason, but will have everyone believe it is to worship. My personal favorites are the Friday & Saturday night bar dwellers. They seem to have the best perception on what church is all about.
