I think
Joe must periodically spill Maxwell House on his laptop and has to wait for it to dry. Ya'll know it is terribly humid in Bumfolk...even in the winter.
Joe..I thought i'd lost you forever....and NO...I am not the object of the "suspicious third account query." I'll let you in when I know my stalker has been secreted inside Maudine's hair. LMAO

Terrible that ones bubble can be blown to smitherines
I am a bit confused if the original was measuring less, did she then walk more than 5947 steps

Your writing style flows nicely. So. How do you get all those pix and
perks to show up in your sidebar? Do tell.

joe,

those steps can add up pretty quick, especially when you're pottering around all day long... Love the Georgia stories!

Ho ho ho! Ha ha ha!
Well, at least Georgia will look infinitely more stylish bouncing (in her own way) down the lane sporting her new-fangled, shiny pedometer instead of whatever it was she used to have. By the way, the ultra-low count will very likely motivate her to hustle her bustle a little more!
By the way, thanks for all your great comments! Good perk-me-up boosters!
Has your Monster done any evolving in the past years?

Funny Joe
I was in a shop the other day and sore a pedometer under the glass counter. Nor a nanosecond I thought about it and then though, naaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhh. I wonder if it would measure the effort it takes to get up the hills around here.

I tried being a pedometer once. But things kept coming along to distract
me from the count. Other people. Cars. TV programs. (keeping count while watching TV from your La-Z-Boy is the easy part). The experience did give me a new respect for obsessive compulsives. Man what a drag! counting all the time. Georgia's pedometer, the original, sounds like it undercounts. OMG! She may have taken more than 6500 steps. Is that possible?

They're certainly
not pedanticometers, more like perhapsometers...

YIKES!!!
I can see the plot thickening! Also, I am desperate to find out whether my estimate of Georgia's length of stride was accurate- probably not, I now think it's closer to five inches...

Joe, pedometers should be called oddometers in my book. They don't
seem to ever be able to tell you how many steps you've taken.
