Thank you Troosha , it was five hours of fun, plenty of rests and cups of strong tea, this afternoon, weather permitting I have my own backyard to tangle with, on my own
under the helpful glare of Tina!
Thanks again Troosha

Lion
That first "attack" on the mess winter has created is always an arduous task. You gave it both reality (the blood stained T shirt) and humour.....

Yes, sounds like a great place to have a backyard Neil, tropical! In all fairness, I don't mind a day spent in the garden, I just need to motivate myself more. One good kick in the backside usually does the trick! Thanks again

Thanks richinstore! At the time of the photo, it sure did friend but me and my comrade soon had it in shape. Though I'm still feeling the aches and pains of that day. Thanks again

LOts of work to keep you minding your own busyness, eh? Big yard too...
I love working out in the yard, or used too in troppical Durban in Africa. It's a blessing to have a piece of land where one has a home: Nature is such therapy. Neil

Me also Tony, maybe I'll cut the grass without too much fuss, though strimming not too bad I find, but all the other jobs, no not for me thanks. The photo of the bin and wheelbarrow, are on land where I have started to work with a chap whom as challenging behavior, we both got stuck into the gardening chores yesterday. As for stings from nettles, no, not yet friend. They just fit the poem, thats all Holmes!

Mike - I dread gardening chores.
Is this part of your own land you're talking about, or some land nearby that you clear every now and then? One thing I've enjoyed while living in a flat is not having to do any mowing. More power to the gardener, I say - the one you pay to do it for you, I mean! And did you really get cut and stung? Well that just proves my point. If I had a lot of land, and there was no gardener, I think the wild option would be perfectly acceptable. More fun for the kids, too! Then get a gardener in just when you're ready to sell...
