Hi Factor-
I think the biggest adjustment for me has been the gradual decline of my voice. To go from classroom and public speaker and singing as a first soprano, to barely being able to whisper words. Everyone nods at you and you know they didn't hear you ask them a question. I sometimes do some vocal exercises. I feel exhilarated that I am able to accomplish them when I can and discouraged the other times when my voice feels strained, no matter how much I project from the diaphram. Well, I still can take meds and bend my fingers to type and talk that way!

Glad to hear you are doing well.
Parkinson's has some weird symptoms, doesn't it? Eyelids and that freezing thing in the prior post...wow. Not that I am without my own freakish symptoms, hahaha.

Good for you, LadyCeeMarie
Even though I take a staten, I'm afraid my arteries are probably clogged this evening. Son #3 grilled a hula burger for me in the wonderful fresh air and sunshine today. I'm afraid I ate every bit of it.

I join all your Blogit fans in celebrating the clear arteries & eyelids to
heal or get medically-covered care per monday's decision. Thanks for the update--your children and Jay are obviously praying and being thankful. Keep on keeping on the exercise regimen. I love your 30 pounds from 2006. Better hugs, y'know. Shalom and Gratitude to the Maker of Earth, Heaven and living TESTIMONIES! best to Jay. Neil

You are an inspiration!
Inspite of everything, the fact that you take time out to blog is phenomenal. I rally around you being a person with a disability myself. I hope all goes well. As for oats, I use applesauce with mine - half cup of oats to about quarter to half cup of applesauce, depending on what I feel like at the moment.
