I would love to see the day, Sannhet,
when we rethink our definitions and assumptions about our domination of all living creatures, and change some attitudes about acceptible and unacceptible ways to do unto them... Chimps are one community it becomes harder and harder to argue that they are "just animals," as if that is the same as "just turnips" or "just rocks."

And let's not forget Gorillas, orangutans, whales, dolphins, tigers, seals, buffalo, wolves, dogs, cats and all of the other animals who have been treated inhumanely.
