so true. In Delhi we have a movement to get people to have street dogs as pets - as they are sturdier and more adapted to the Indian conditions - as opposed to the foreign bred ones.

No, Aloe's not an Alsatian. He is highly mixed breed - part cocker spaniel, part dashund, and part street dog. How about that?

You're right, eating together with a dog is a great reassurance to the dog that it's a member of the pack in good standing! I always share a bit of whatever i am eating with my pets. No dog anymore, though...
