Why is it that when we go shopping we always forget to buy light bulbs and (at least in my case) butter. I know that's weird... but I can even print it in bold on my shopping list and I return home without the damn butter.

Whacky.........
We bought some expensive bulbs for the kitchen and they've been burning for two years now.
Hope they don't burn out just because I said that.

I've got these low-energy long-life bulbs.
They save me money, but above all, I know that I have saved the Earth for future generations. I hope I get the credit for this.

IT seems to me that light bulbs go out more in the winter then any other time. In the last month I had to replace 4 bulbs.....and they were supposed to last a couple of years...So much for the more expensive bulbs...I am back to the dollar general light bulbs, at least I know what I am getting....

Whacky, at the group home, when one light burns out, I know about 5 more
will go within the week, and they do..probably b/c they were all installed together when the house was opened....I just automatically buy some about every 3 months..

..but those tiny fridge lights are the biggest pain of all..

whackydotter & Bo.
I've switched all my lights now to the new fluorescent type, less light but they are way easier on the electricity bill. I'm used to it now and they last 10 times longer or more.Blah
