I can't give advice any more so than the others have, but hopefully you will feel a peace within you about whatever decision you make, difficult as it may be. I agree with what bel said - mothers know, and she has no doubt fogotten all about any cross words. My thoughts are with you all.

One is never ready for this. Do as she would wish, and be strong.
"Strong" doesn't mean not feeling and not showing emotion, but carrying on as well as one can along with it and sometimes despite it.
