I actually swapped the unripe banana for a very ripe one in the end!

I'm happy I can be at home sick then. That unripe banana didn't do a thing for me. But I loved the poetic way you talked about it, 'all washed down'.

Thanks Neil - it's good to have spring in the air.
Still a little bit chilly round here but on the whole it's not been a cold winter. I think it's this coming Saturday night outr clocks go forward and we have more light in the evening - always a great time of the year.

Yes, Bhaskar. He's back today, though.
I may not have time to write today's sonnet in the office!

Yes, OTA, there is definitely a connection.
There is a very strong link between the muse and the stomach.

Well done. It's that typical mice enjoying while the cat is away. I quite liked OTA's comment that sonnet makes you hungry, or hunger makes you write sonnets.

I think writing sonnets makes you hungry.. or being hungry makes you write sonnets or.. something..

I enjoyed this one.. I ate lunch on the go today. Just me and everybody else in the fast food line at the deli.

Hi Troosha - yes, I took advantage of a quiet few minutes in the office.
It's great to get it done so early in the day, especially as I had some things to do which took up most of the evening, till now. It captures the atmosphere of the office in one of its quieter moments. Sometimes it can be rather noisy.

Hi Neil - Don't get me started on noisy neighbours.
But i hope to be moving within the next 2 months, and then they will be a thing of the past! Hurray! Yes, the Brits are quite quiet on the whole, but even we have our moments. It would help if we won at sport more often, i think!

good choices in your day, plus brown bread! I miss quiet "british" crowds
--here it is too loud, almost all the time. My neighbors play loud music every day, worse on weekends. Fortunately I do not have to do most of my work at home! Good going on the Sonnet front, Tony! shalom from neil

Tony - Had my white bread cheese sandwich... no banana....
but a small bunch of red grapes did nicely thank you. No dreamers around computers in my sight, alone in my office....open plan sucks. Thanks for a good read.
